FAQ

I’d love to purchase a DVD of Reflections Unheard for my own personal use. How can I get a hold of a copy?

Thank you for your interest! Reflections Unheard will be available for Individual Purchase in Spring, 2019. Please let us know if you would like to receive an e-mail update when the film is available.

Otherwise, it is likely that Reflections Unheard is available for private viewing at your local public library or university campus! Please contact us if you have any further questions or Special Requests.

What are the costs associated with hosting a Film Screening?

To host a basic Film Screening, you will need to purchase the DVD. Please find more information about our DVD pricing here.

If you are interested in hosting the Director to facilitate an accompanying discussion or additional programming, additional costs for Honorarium and Travel Expenses must be considered.

We offer a range of specialized options to suit various programming desires and budgets. Please view our Screening Information Guide for more detailed information.

Does the DVD come with Public Screening Rights?

Yes! All DVDs and Digital Licenses, with the exception of the Individual License, include Public Performance Rights for non-paying audiences.

What is the Digital Site License?

The Institutional Digital Site License grants librarians with rights and permissions to upload a digital version of Reflections Unheard to your University Library’s secure network server.

Students and Faculty will have access to the film via library login, and can view from multiple devices, provided they have University login credentials, and/or are viewing from your library server.

This allows for easier and more diversified access to the film, as opposed to the physical DVD, which can only be used by one person at a time.

Digital versions of the film include Public Screening Rights for classroom and campus-wide screening events. The DSL is for libraries who wish to provide Reflections Unheard to their University community via this digital format.

Digital Site Licenses are granted in perptuity.

I would like to host a Film Screening in my local community, but I’m not sure of how to go about it. Where do I start?

We are so pleased to hear of your interest! Hosting a screening often works best when you collaborate with a team.

First, consider sharing your idea with others in your community and requesting co-sponsorship from like-minded organizations, Collectives, student groups, and/or University departments.

This will provide your event with more resources for funding, space, equipment, bright ideas, and promotional efforts, and ensure that it will be a success!

I would like to Interview the Director. Who may I contact for Press Inquiries?

Thank you for your inquiry. Please contact us directly via our contact form.
